All IB teachers work in conjunction with the IB Coordinator to ensure that students are engaged in a well developed program of study. Teachers work together to build a workable assessment schedule that still allows for breaks and field trips.

All IB teachers receive extensive training in their IB subject in addition to their regular training required by the state to teach in their subject area. Some of our IB teachers are also JISA teachers which lends itself to a natural vertical alignment from JISA to IB.

As IB teachers, they know the expectations of IB and can begin to implement these in 9th and 10th grades and create a more seamless transition from JISA to IB.
