The Program:

The Soccer program was established in 1977 and has compiled a record of 402-231-30 since the inception date. Since 1999 we have gone an impressive 303-75-17. Over that time, we have qualified for 20 state tournaments across multiple classifications.

Notable Accomplishments:

2014 Season:
Finished with 5^th best record in the state of Georgia. Student Sports Ranking #40 Nationally, #10 in Georgia, AJC Final ranking #2 in AAAA, Eurosport Scoreboard Ranking #2 AAAA and #7 in all Classifications, NSCAA Region 2 Ranking #10. .

2016
#2 Final Ranking in Class AAAA, #10 Final Ranking in Georgia Coaches poll, NSCAA Region 2 (Southeastern) #10 Final Ranking. Ranked as high as #5 in the Nation during the season.

2018
Ranking: #1 in AAAAA, #3 in Georgia, #9 in National Spring Season, #3 NSCAA Region 2 of the U.S.

Players:

Over the course of the programs history we have been blessed with numerous quality players; fielding numerous players on all regional teams. Notable players include All-Time leading Scorer in program history with 116 career goals: 2016 Graduate Fabian Abarca, 2005 Graduate and second leading scorer Francisco Arellano, 2018 Graduates Rigo Campa, Joshua Elizalde, Marco Vazquez, Michael Arcia, 2014 Graduates Israel Avila, Luis Deltoro. Just to name a few.

The 2019 Squad aims to add to this incredible list of accomplishments and is led by 4-year starter, 3-year Captain and Georgia State University signee Cooper Bowen, 4 year starters Junior Arellano, Cole Bowen along with a host of other players eager to keep the tradition alive and well.

The Crest:

Our program proudly displays our crest which is the foundation of our program. When you pull on the Johnson Crest you are representing something bigger than an individual, you are joining a brotherhood, a family.

The Four blue stars represent the core values of the program: Faith, Family, Commitment, Integrity.

The 6 Pillars represent: The JHS Community, Academics, Service, Growth as a Man, Tradition, Sacrifice

The Crest is wrapped in Gold to signify the success we have had as a program and that we will continue to uphold the tradition and success of the crest both on and off the field and continue to honor it in all that we do.
