Philosophy:
Music Education is vital to the 21st century student. Discipline, healthy work ethic, sportsmanship, respect, and team-building skills are some examples of character development through the rigorous demands of musical training. Music is not only an important form of self-expression, it teaches communication as one of very few worldwide languages. Proper music education builds future leaders and cultivates a lifelong support of the arts.
Teaching music is not my main purpose. I want to make good citizens. If children hear fine music from the day of their birth and learn to play it, they develop sensitivity, discipline, and endurance.
They get a beautiful heart. — Shinichi Suzuki
