Jonathan Edwards was approved as the new Principal of Johnson High School by the by the Hall County Board of Education in the September 14th meeting.
Edwards began his career with the Hall County School District in 2015 as Assistant Principal and Athletic Director at Johnson. In June 2019, he became the school’s Associate Principal.
“Johnson High School has such a rich tradition, and I am truly humbled by the opportunity to serve our students, our staff and the JHS community in this new role,” Edwards said in a statement last week. “I am honored to continue the work that Mr. Lewis began here.”
“As an Associate Principal, Mr. Edwards has demonstrated the people skills, the knowledge of instruction and most importantly, the heart required to lead Johnson High School,” Schofield said. “He is ready to assume the role of principal.”
